The VRRI is currently seeking Community Disability Services Relief Workers. Skilled individuals are needed to provide quality services and supports to adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of community settings and locations. Shifts may be scheduled on an on-call basis or with advanced notice. Shifts are very flexible with day time, evening, and weekend shifts available.

Responsibilities are varied and may include daily living support, community access, and community employment. In addition to the following qualifications, strong communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team are required for these positions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Community Rehabilitation, Disability Studies or a related social science
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Education and experience equivalencies may be considered.
