The VRRI is a non-profit, service and research agency committed to innovative services and research that assist persons with disabilities to live as contributing and valued members of the community.
We are actively recruiting for this position; a male client requires a separate apartment or basement suite in Calgary. The Supportive Roommate would be part of a team that provides the client community living support.
Qualifications:
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities and or brain injury is preferred. A diploma or degree in Rehabilitation / Disability Studies or a related field would be a definite asset.
The successful candidate(s) will be subject to a police security clearance in compliance with the Protection for Persons in Care Act. Standard first aid and CPR are required within the first 3 months of employment.
