It's My History, Too! |
|
|
It's My History, Too! is a story of Albertans with developmental disabilities and their helpers. Do you know this story? Bad things happened. Good things happened. Told in their words, these stories will span the province's 100-year history. The goal is to align with Mavericks: An incorrigible history of Alberta, the permanent gallery at Calgary's Glenbow Museum. It's My History, Too! will feature mavericks - Albertans who have made a profound difference in the lives of Albertans with developmental disabilities at any time in the province's history. Mavericks led the way for people with developmental disabilities to be seen, heard, valued, and understood. Please visit www.imht.ca to learn more about our exhibit and/how you can participate.
