Workforce 2010 – Labour Market Intelligence
Description The VRRI Research Department was commissioned by the Alberta Council on Disability Services (formerly Alberta Association of Rehabilitation Centres, AARC) to provide research information in support of the Workforce 2010 initiative to develop a comprehensive HR strategy for disability services in Alberta. Activities undertaken include:
  • Literature review on labour market demographics and trends
  • Analysis of current and future workforce demographics
  • Analysis of current and future consumers
  • Analysis of post-secondary student enrollment in Albert in rehabilitation and related fields
  • Development of an evidence-based  “Employer of Choice” self-assessment tool
